Rachelle Baum RDH--Hygienist
My name is Rachelle Baum. I received my Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Colorado Northwestern Community College in 1998, and started working at Smuin Dental. I enjoy helping our patients care for their teeth and watching our younger patients grow into adulthood through the years. I work one day a week and spend the rest of my time raising my family of 5. We are down to two children at home and it already feels empty. I recently became a grandmother; it is my favorite thing. I like boating, camping, and doing anything with my family. Recently I have started playing pickleball, I am terrible but it is so fun! Smuin Dental has been my home from the beginning and I plan to retire here.
Cali Maguire RDH--Hygienist
My name is Cali Maguire. I have been a dental hygienist for 18 years. I graduated from Colorado Northwestern Community College in 2007. I love getting to know each of my patients and teaching them about their oral health. I was born and raised in Vernal. I married my husband Jesse in Sept 2007. We have 2 children, Case is 7 and Indy is 3. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family. We love traveling, camping, side by side rides, snowboarding, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Lindsey Price RDH--Hygienist
Hi, my name is Lindsey Price and I am a Dental Hygienist. I received my education at Colorado Northwestern Community College and graduated in 2010. I have been with Smuin Dental since 2012 and love my time spent here. I have a passion for dental hygiene and I enjoy spending my day building relationships and getting to know the patients I see, educating patients on their oral health, and of course the satisfying part of actually cleaning the teeth :) I feel blessed being a part of Smuin Dental and I hope that you always feel important when you are here with us too. I was born and raised in Vernal. I married my husband Jake in August 2011 and we have 5 beautiful children: Paxton, Zuri, Aiya, Audie, and Hade. I am happiest when I am spending time with them. Some of my favorite things to do are: snuggle and watch movies with my family, side by side rides, shopping, cheering my kids on in all of their fun activities, going on trips, and being outdoors as a family.

Hi, My name is Maddie. I have been a dental hygienist since 2015. I married my husband Jeremy in 2016, and together we have two kids, Blake and Jace. I love working with my patients and I always strive to give them the best care. My happy attitude and genuine care make patients feel right at home.
Stephanie Gilroy—Receptionist/Dental Assistant
My name is Stephanie Gilroy. I joined Smuin Dental in 2004 as the receptionist. In 2010 Dr. Smuin trained me to be his assistant. I love working at Smuin Dental and helping patients smile bigger. I have lived in Vernal my entire life. I married my high school sweetheart, Wes Gilroy. We have three adult children. Two sons: Tyler and Konnor; one beautiful girl: Charlee. In my spare time I like to travel, scrapbook, camp, read, watch sporting events and spend time with my family.
Miranda Willer—Dental Assistant/Receptionist
Hey friends, my name is Miranda Willer. I was born in Rock Springs Wyoming and moved to Vernal Utah in 2009. I graduated from Uintah High School in 2018 as a high honor roll student. I didn’t know what I wanted to do after high school, but one day I received an opportunity to be a Dental Assistant in 2019 and I quickly fell in love with the dental field! I love helping my patients find their confidence in their smiles! I did take a short break for a few years and then soon realized that I missed the dental field so I decided to go back to school. I graduated with my Dental Assisting, Radiology, and Orthodontics Assisting certifications from Practical Dental Assisting of Utah (PDA) in Lindon Utah in 2022. I have been with Smuin Dental ever since and I absolutely love it. I married my high school sweetheart Hunter Willer in November of 2023 and we have three Fur Babies who I love more than anything. I have two Golden Retrievers; Flex, and Uv, and a Scottish Fold; Molly. I spend a lot of my free time with them and my family. A fun fact about me is I went skydiving before I ever flew on a plane, then when we hit solid ground Hunter proposed, it was truly a once in a lifetime experience!
Myrissa Ann Young—Dental Assistant
Hey everyone, my name is Myrissa Ann Young. I was born and raised in Vernal, Utah and have since resided here because I love my hometown. After graduating from Uintah High in 2020, I attended dental assisting school in 2021 at Creek Side Academy of dental assisting where I was trained and received my certification in dental assisting and radiology. I began working at Smuin dental shortly after graduating from assisting school, and have learned and grown so much since being here. I enjoy the care we are able to provide for our patients and lab work that goes on daily. In my free time I enjoy all things outdoors and spending time with my family. I have a French bulldog named "Rhino" and Boxer "Raja" who are my best buddies.

Hi, my name is Shyann Young. I was born and raised in Vernal, I graduated from Uintah High School. While I was still in high school I had the opportunity to intern at Smuin Dental. I love learning new things and eventually want to go to school for dental hygiene. I love working in the dental field and giving patients a reason to smile. A little bit about me is I love the outdoors, fashion and design, spending time with my family, traveling and shopping! I love the environment and great staff that I get to work with here at Smuin Dental.
